Hi, I am Claire, and I am a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist. I qualified in 2024 and gained my Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH). I also went on to complete my Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma (HPD), where I was able to put theory into practice.
My journey with hypnotherapy started in and around 2016. After a couple of turbulent years, I sought therapy for myself.
Why did I choose hypnotherapy?
After doing some research on different therapies, I found hypnotherapy to be a therapeutic process that would help guide me to change my thought processes and ease the anxiety I was experiencing.
I was a little apprehensive at first and anxious about what I was walking myself into. I needn’t have been. Eight years later, I applied for my hypnotherapy diploma, and the rest is history.
I am a lover of nature, and if I’m not working or at home with my family, you’ll most probably find me outdoors, exploring the colours and textures and looking outward at the beauty of how nature unfolds. Walking outdoors, or movement of some kind, helps people take small steps forward, and I am a great believer that anyone can achieve this. If you’re struggling with this, Solution Focused Hypnotherapy can help guide you.
My interests
I like to read books. I’m a little sporadic with them, so I usually have two on the go at the same time. As they all seem to be of similar genres, I can enjoy them at my leisure. They are a great way to wind down or pass the time.
I love music and dancing.
Did you know that music alone can help humans and animals alike open up the parasympathetic nervous system? Music can help us feel calm and relaxed, but it depends on the beat, the type of music you listen to, and how your subconscious mind receives it. Interesting!
Last but not least, I am a lover of animals. Besides beloved dogs and other domesticated friends, animals in the wild have an innate ability to keep me fascinated by the way they use their instincts to survive naturally. They keep themselves within the natural flow of the earth’s intrinsic movement. Each animal and species is distinct in its own way, acting as an integral component of ecosystems rather than existing outside of them, leaving room for the natural flow of the earth’s ability to keep moving.
Taking a leaf out of nature’s book can help guide people to work in flow with their own natural abilities and with those around them.
